Anke Weiß was born in Schwäbisch Hall in 1991 and grew up in Kupferzell. After graduating from the Schlossgymnasium Künzelsau, she studied law at the universities of Konstanz and Bergen. Her main areas of study were environmental and planning law as well as public commercial law. As part of her studies, she spent two semesters at the University of Bergen in Norway. There she specialised in public international law, energy law and private international law.
She completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Heilbronn, passing her final exams in October 2019. Ms Weiß worked at RBB & Partner during her legal clerkship. She spent part of her legal clerkship at the Stuttgart Administrative Court.
She was admitted to the bar by the Stuttgart Bar Association in December 2019. Her main areas of practice are administrative law and public building law.

Ms Weiß has been a specialist lawyer in administrative law since March 2023.
